Friday afternoon game: What would you build?

Well it's 4:20 on Friday and my brain has turned to mush. It says no more thinking for you today! So ok, fuck work lets play a game instead! it's simple you have just won the lottery, you have time and money and you really want to built a car. What do you buy and what do you do to it?

The rules:

you can only buy a car that exists

all the stuff you do it has to exist

money is not an option

it must be legal

So let me start:

I would buy a 1988 Chevy IROC-Z Camaro

And do my best to find a wrecked 2006 STS-V with a good motor.

And mate it to the Transmission and rear of a c6 z51

I'd also upgrade the suspension with magnaride from a corvette and the breaks from a c6 Z51 as well. Upgrade the interior too as much as possible

Phoning this one in - exactly what I'm already doing, thanks. If I have to pick "something that isn't a Ranchero with a Rover v8, column shift four-speed, jag suspension, and height adjust", then a ~'38 La Salle with an air-cooled boxer 10 (built out of Continental jugs and 2-3 welded cases and cranks) and a sequential gearbox. Alternately, an electric drive '50 Stude business coupe with a Garrett APU or radial driving the generator.

Semi-realistically? I'd love to drop a Coyote in a Fox Body. I actually spent about an hour today scouring CL and Copart for donors. Looks like it's already been done, but that doesn't make me want one any less.

Start with a stock black Foxbody.

Jon Kaase Boss 9 with ITBs

GNX-style wheels

Sierra Cossie wing

Several of these

-Milled aluminum chassis

-All carbon fiber body

-Full cage

-Side pipes

-Any manual transmission capable of handling 1500ish HP

i'd pick up an 88 potiac Fiero gt re apolster the seats with a kit from Mr mikes grab an ls7 engine and mate it to a manual nsx dubble clutch 6sp transmission that's been completely rebuilt

2 inch drop on front and rear suspension with coilovers strut supports and frame bracing zero lash tie rods from Rodney dickmons and control arm upgrade kits to help reduce the bump steer

Install an electric assisted power steering from an mr 2 or miata 12 inch big break kit

3 inch chop top, wide body kit and decklid glass showing the engine low profile light kit and painted flat black with trim and vents painted console green

And the last thing add a damm cup holder
